Printed Stickers vs. Transfer Decals: What’s the Difference?
What's the difference between printed stickers, like Die Cuts, and Transfer Decals? Printed Stickers have a design printed onto sticker material and are then cut around the design or into a selected shape. Transfer Decals have no printed background surrounding the design: the design is cut from vinyl, excess material is removed, and transfer tape holds the remaining elements together for application.
The video also introduces multicolor background-free designs, now offered as Printed Transfer Decals, which combine printed color with transfer-tape application.
